Javier Rodriguez was born in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. At the age of 18 he started his carrer as a cook, dividing his time between kitchens and the law school, that ended when he got his degree in 2006.
His passion for gastronomy allowed him since a very young age to travel, and know different cultures; who believes along with reading, is fundamental in the education of every chef.
He has worked and made stages in some of the most renowned restaurants in the world, such as Noma en Copenhagen, Tetsuyas en Sydney, Restaurant Andre in Singapore, Viajante in London and La Gloria in Lima.
He has served as a Jury in important food tournaments -the Finals of the National Chefs Tournament among them; and he has been part of the select Argentine Chefs Brigade, cooking in diplomatic missions along Latinamerica.
He also colaborates as a columnist for www.molecularrecipes.com, one of the largest modern cuisine websites in the world.
Today he is again in Cordoba, where he is very enthusiastic working in the reopening of El Papagayo, a place that aims to change the way to see gastronomy in the city.
